We recorded this at the Weihnachstmarkt on a cold day at the end of November. The recorder player was standing in the street with hardly any coins in a tin which she had placed in front of her. She was shivering with the cold, and this can be heard in her playing. In the background people can be heard walking around the market talking, and an accordionist can be heard in the distant. There is a dog close by making a barking/whining noise at times and birds can be heard flying past and cawing. At the end of the recording a coin is dropped in her tin.
