The sound of techno/dance music coming from the window of an apartment. At the same time a father and his child walk past the microphones and can be heard in the recording. Later, a car drives past and the noise levels increase as it does this. Near the beginning of the recording the fieldworker can be heard in the distance speaking into the other microphone.

Birds can be heard loudly cawing overhead. People can be heard speaking to each other, chatter, laughter. The distant sound of music, most likely street musicians, can also be heard.
